President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, as we know, collects antiquarian
objects. In his free time he likes restoring archaeological finds. Viktor
Yushchenko also loves bee-keeping, pottery and ski-ing.
The former president of Russia Vladimir Putin loves martial arts, particularly
karate and judo. He loves going horse-riding. In his country residence there
are over twenty thoroughbred horses.
Ex-president George Bush of the USA is the first to admit that what he likes
doing best is sitting by a blazing fire in the quiet of the evening, when absolutely
no-one is bothering him. He also has another passion – complementing his wardrobe ...
with cowboy dress. Like Putin he also "collects" horses. Admittedly, he very rarely rides them.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spends over forty percent of his working
hours on non-political activities. He likes ski-ing and plays hockey and tennis.
He frequently also plays his accordion. He often goes to the baths.
The former president of France Jacques Chirac knows Russian quite well, and therefore
reads Pushkin in the original. He is also a collector. His house reminds one of a
true museum, in which pictures, figurines, and various African and Brazilian masks
have been assembled. Also, he particularly enjoys tasting wines.
Former US president Bill Clinton likes, more than anything, to play the saxophone.
Everyone knows this. But he is also a collector of these musical instruments. And
at the weekend he regularly plays golf and baseball.
